 | The "four pillars" represent a summary of the distinguishing marks and core values of our church. These four things are expected of every member so that we may carry out our mission as a local church to be a display of God's glory on the earth. |
|
Explanation
- "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." -Matthew 5:16
Every member is expected to live consitently with the faith they claim. Every member must seek to represent Christ and the gospel in his or her home, workplace, and other arenas of public and private life. We are to engage the world with the gospel and we do this through our coporate testimony as a church. This requires a worldview and lifestyle shaped by the Bible.
